Our History

Many people arrive with hope and dreams of a better future, but language barriers can leave them feeling misunderstood and disconnected. Voice of Grace exists to help them build confidence, find their voice, and create new opportunities through English.

The Origin of the Mission

Nancy Rodriguez founded Voice of Grace during one of the most difficult periods of her life. While caring for her parents in their final days, she realized her purpose was shifting. It was then that she received a call: the director of the Siena Learning Center offered her the opportunity to continue her legacy of teaching English to people facing language barriers. Years later, with the experience she had gained and the support of Rotary International, Nancy took the leap of faith that led her to create Voice of Grace.

Our Philosophy

When people face language barriers upon arriving in the United States, they often leave their voices behind. In their home countries, they were professionals, parents, and leaders. But language barriers can make them feel invisible and dependent. Voice of Grace exists to give them back their voice, so they can regain their confidence, independence, and ability to build a future. We believe that every person deserves to be heard and have the opportunity to thrive.

Our Commitment

Today, Voice of Grace remains steadfast in its mission to break down language barriers. We believe that education is the key that unlocks doors, and that every person deserves the opportunity to find their voice and build the future they desire. Our commitment is to continue walking alongside those who arrive seeking a better future, offering them the tools to transform their lives and enrich our community.

Empowerment

We believe in the ability of each person to transform their life through learning.

Community

We foster a space of mutual support where every student finds a family.

Hope

Each class is a step towards a better future, full of opportunities and growth.
